Hi, my name is Amber, I married my dream man Nathan, on June 19,2010. When we started our lives together we really didn't have much of a time line for starting a family. We bought a house in 2011 and started to remodel it. In 2013 we decided that we would start a family in February of 2014, I had been off the pill for almost a year now and we weren't trying but not completely preventing it from happening. January 2014 I went for a check up to make sure we were good to start trying.
February rolled around, then March, then April, then May.......and you get the idea, and here we are now. Although it hasn't been a full calender year (and thats the magic timeline for drs) it has been 12 cycles that we have been trying. I have had an ultrasound and some blood work and all they found was a small fibroid on my uterus, nothing too serious.
Now that it has been a year (a calender year in February) we are starting to explore our other options, be treatments or adoption.
This is my way to vent the anger, frustration and disappointment. The anger of another month going by, the frustration of the waiting and not knowing and the disappointment as we navigate this journey.
It won't be the happiest blog, but then again, everything isn't always rainbows and butterflies.
